We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees. Our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) charter and policy recognises that this is the responsibility of management, working in cooperation and consultation with employees, to ensure ongoing active prevention of injury and illness in our workplace.

Safety Management System

Willow is committed to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our health and safety management system. This provides a structured, systematic approach to managing occupational health and safety risks. All employees are consulted about OH&S issues and their views and recommendations are taken into account in the program development and implementation process.

Certification

Our Health and Safety Management System has been audited annually since 2001 by the National Safety Council of Australia against their 5 Star Safety System Standards. We have achieved the highest level of 5 Star Status since 2003.

In 2008 Willow was audited against the Australian Standard AS4801: Safety Management Systems to which we have been successfully certified.

We have been certified to AS4801: Safety Management Systems since October 2008.
